The John Templeton foundation awards a prize known as the Templeton Prize which carries sizable financial benefits.
The Templeton foundation has been known to be an advocacy group for intelligent design “theories” and has been known to support scientists who share the belief that the natural world is in fact a design of some sort of intelligent being.
This years Templeton Prize has been awarded to the evolutionary biologist and geneticist Francisco Ayala of the University of California, Irvine. I for one do not believe that the Templeton Foundation stands for intellectual honesty and has warped the very foundation of scientific inquiry by supporting wishful thinking and nonsensical “science”; notably the “theories” of intelligent design.
